Cool Icelandic bands just don’t have time to wait for you to come to Reykjavík

That’s why we’re sending them to you instead.

We know you’re a really busy person — much too busy to fly with Iceland Express to Reykjavík every weekend to listen to cool local bands.

So we’re just sending them to you instead.

With our friends at Iceland Music Export we’re making it easier for great Icelandic bands and musicians to fly away and introduce themselves in person to nice foreign people like you.

Retro Stefson album cover

So far, Prins Póló has played Denmark, Úlfur Hansson was in Belgium, Lay Low was in the Netherlands, Snorri Helgason was in Poland and London and Retro Stefson (pictured here, looking tired of waiting for you) has been just all over the place.

Coming up soon, the Caterpillarmen playing all over Europe, Myrra Rós plugging her new album in Poland, and Pascal Pinon doing their thing in Japan in March.

So keep your eyes open and your ears peeled. (And if you can’t wait for them to come to you, you know what to do.)
