We like to be in America

iex-usa-badge-150x.jpgIceland Express starts flying to Orlando in October, and we’re also extending our New York schedule.

We’ve got some good news for Icelanders who like it hot, and for Floridians who wouldn’t mind a bit of fresh air: This October, Iceland Express starts flying to Florida from Reykjavík. (And back.)

This first run is going to be a short one, with the maiden flight on 2 October and the last scheduled flight 23 October. One flight a week, on Saturdays, with possibilities of connecting with Copenhagen and London via Iceland.

Oh, and in other America-related news — our New York flights have been pretty successful so far, and we’ve decided to extend that route an extra two months, until the end of October.

So, Tony and Mickey — you know where to book your flight to Iceland.

  1. I was wondering if you were going to resume flights to and from Orlando???? That is a VERY big market because there is Disney, Epcot, Universal studios and many close by beaches for the tourists!!! Also in the winter, Florida has an excellent warm and sunny climate that is so seductive to many europeans/Scandinavians! I hope your airline resumes flights to and from Orlando! Flying from NJ was a disaster, the airport crew ( NON-icelanders) give nightmare service.

  2. I’m going to Orlando from New York in May. As I already booked a one-way ticket from CPH to EWR with Iceland Express I’m interested in knowing when and if Iceland Express will fly continue their route to Orlando in 2011.
