Dear sirs>

I would like to get a ” How to learn Icelandic?”. Can you say me where can I get one? I like very much Iceland and I intend to visit it, but I want to arrive there speaking something in Icelandic.

hahahaha I’m Icelandic and this is very funny:
Þú stendur á fæti mínum

if you say this you sound like you live in the viking age, You’d need to say: Þú stendur á fætinum mínum.
Or just: Hættu að stíga á fótinn minn helvítis kuntan þín, or Stop stepping on my foot you f*cking cunt.

Instead of please you could say: viltu gjöra svo vel, but that sounds kinda rude, so stick to saying takk all the time (or not at all)
Don’t say Ég vil Bjór, say Einn (stóran/lítinn (large/small) bjór (takk if you like). That is demand one (einn) beer.

http://www.livemocha.com has a great Icelandic course that let’s you talk to native Icelandic speakers or just to go through a course that’ll teach you vocabulary and grammar. Pretty cool, and no pun intended.

ég var á íslandi síðasta vika og reyndi að tala (ok, ég reyndi að SKILJA) íslensku. og ég skildi nærri engin…

but these phrases are really funny and helpful…

oh, and if you would like to say “please” you could then use “gertu svo vel” or “gerið svo vel” (if there’s more than one you’re talking to)

Ég er læra islensku.
well i don’t know i can have chance to be in iceland, but i’m enjoying it !! ( i’m sad that i couldn’t say that in icelandic … YET !!!!! )
but it’s really really make me puke when im learnig
grammar part ……

Funny, it’s looking a little like hungarian language. You are sure that you are not teaching us some insane bad words?:-)
