Congratulations. Iceland Express has got indeed a good position in travel to and from Iceland. I guess many think of Iceland Express first when buying their tickets.
Regarding the offer, this is what people call inexpensive and low-cost (normal prices, when there is no ice breaker, let’s say they’re just not… so expensive as “others”). Can’t you just be on birthday all year-round? :)

We just wanted to say a few words about a little misunderstanding that seems to be about the special offer. Some of you are saying that the “from €65″ price is not actually including taxes, like we said.
This is wrong. The prices quoted for the special offer are indeed including taxes and charges. Let me explain:
On step 2 of the booking process, we show prices without taxes and charges. This means that to get the €65 flight, you find a flight on step 2 that costs €29. Then the taxes and charges are added on step 3, to make a total of €65.
Still, there is a limited number of seats available, so even though we sold over 4,000 seats for €65, £45, or DKK 519, on some routes they were finished quite quickly after the offer was made public.

Uno de los factores que hacen que mucha gente escoja otros destinos turísticos en lugar de Islandia es el precio de los billetes de avión. Salvo si vives en Alicante o cerca, lo más normal es que cojas el avión a Islandia en otro país europeo (habitualmente el Reino Unido), con lo que supone esto (horas en el aeropuerto, volver a pagar tasas…). A los españoles a menudo no nos sale tan económico el viaje cuando hacemos las cuentas tras comprar nuestros billetes y sumar todas las cantidades, pues los supuestos vuelos de bajo coste a menudo no son tal. Eso sin contar con los gastos que uno tenga en su estancia Islandia. Sin embargo, Iceland Express celebra su cuarto cumpleaños con billetes a un estupendo precio: 65€ incluyendo las tasas e impuestos con salidas desde Berlín, Copenhague, Friedrichshafen y Londres. Y la vuelta desde Keflavík a estas ciudades, también es por 65€. Más información en el blog de Iceland Express. Sí señores, esto sí que es un buen precio. Enhorabuena y felicidades a Iceland Express. También se pueden encontrar vuelos entre Islandia y el Reino Unido a veces más baratos que en Iceland Express, y por norma, más baratos que Icelandair (mi presupuesto de estudiante no me permite acercarme a ésta, pero por circunstancias que ya contaré, volé una vez con ellos y fue un vuelo muy agradable). Sin embargo, espero contaros dentro de poco mis aventuras con British Airways, en las que se lavaron las manos con nosotros e hicieron que llegara 2 días más tarde a casa por Navidad tras mucho insistir para conseguir su asistencia en el aeropuerto y con unos cuantos euros menos, esperemos que temporalmente. Si las aerolíneas se distinguían en precios a menudo por el trato al cliente, mi experiencia con BA no habrá distado demasiado de lo que otros cuentan sobre las aerolíneas de bajo coste. […]
